We are a non-denominational group of Christians located in Lake County, Illinois, and are in fellowship with faithful Christians throughout the world. We accept no creed other than the Bible. Our membership includes Christans from the local area, as well as from places in Illinois like Gurnee, Round Lake, Antioch, Waukegan, Lake Villa, Grayslake, the Great Lakes Naval Base, and Chicago, as well as from cities in Wisconsin, such as Pleasant Prairie, Kenosha, Racine and Milwaukee. We are located just a mile from the Cancer Treatment Centers of America at Midwestern Regional Medical Center in Zion, Illinois.

The church in Zion, Illinois has been active in supporting the preaching of the gospel overseas for many years. Within the past few years we have helped support men in India, China, South Africa, Nigeria, The Philippine Islands, Malaysia, Romania and the Czech Republic.
Most of the material on this website was produced by David Padfield, evangelist for the Church of Christ in Zion, Illinois. In addition, Padfield was able to secure the assistance of Gene Taylor, Wayne Greeson and Jeff Asher to produce original articles, tracts and books for this site.
This local congregation was established in 1959.
